TRANSPORT
Light Rail services run to and from EPIC every 15 minutes on Saturdays & Sundays, with more regular services on weekdays. The Light Rail stop is located on Flemington Road, approx 500m from the entry to the course. For more information head to cmet.com.au or the Transport Canberra Journey Planner to plan your trip.
MyWay cards should be tapped on and off at the platforms, or paper tickets can be purchased using cash or payWave at every stop. If passengers are catching the bus, they can use their bus ticket on the Light Rail within the 90 minute transfer period (and same goes for Light Rail paper tickets being used on buses).
SHOPPING & PAYMENT OPTIONS
After selecting items to purchase, please proceed to the tally tables near the exit. The total cost of your purchase will be calculated here, before you move to the cash registers to pay for you purchase. Payment can be made by cash, credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or EFTPOS. If you need help to move heavy books, please approach one of our friendly volunteers.
CAFÉ
There is a canteen in the venue which will be open during Bookfair opening hours from Thursday through Sunday. There is also a coffee nook that will be open from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm Thursday until Sunday serving warm drinks.
DONATIONS
We will be accepting donations at this Bookfair. However if you have a large amount of donations can you please drop them directly to our Mitchell Warehouse, which is only down the road from Thoroughbred Park. CLICK HERE for more information. Our Mitchell Warehouse will be open for donation drop offs the same hours as the Bookfair – Thursday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
BULK PURCHASES
There will be a designated area for bulk tally and storage at this fair. Please bring your own boxes, bags and trolleys to our bookfairs, we cannot supply them.
PARCEL PICKUP
Park your car far away and have purchased too many books? That’s okay, we will have a dedicated parcel pickup area whereby you can take your purchases to the volunteers that are manning this area, collect your car and the volunteers can assist to load your goods. CLICK HERE for more information.

PARKING
Free Parking is available onsite and also at Exhibition Park’s Wells Station Road car park. See parking options on the attached EPIC Site plan.
Mobility access: Accessible parking options are available in front of both entry and exit. Parcel pickup service is also available outside the exit.
TRANSPORT

Customers can use the recently upgraded footpath on the southern side of Flemington Rd (opposite side on the road to EPIC) to walk up to the pedestrian lights to cross over for access to Gate 2 (the main gate with the bus & taxi drop off zone). ON THE DAY
Carry-bags are available for purchase for $3 each. We also encourage you to bring your own carry-bags.
Refreshments are available from the EPIC cafe in the Budawang Pavilion from 9am on Friday and Saturday and 10am on Sunday.
EPIC Café will also be opening its doors for patrons waiting outside from 7am on Friday, and 8am on Saturday – serving tea, coffee and breakfast options.
